Frequently Asked Questions
Why COLD PROCESSED SOAPS?
Cold process soaps are the most natural way of making soaps with plant-based oils and butters and are in the mildest form to use. They are void of any skin damaging harsh chemicals and protect the natural oils produced by the skin.
How long are our soaps cured before they are packed?
Our soaps are cut and cured for more than 6 weeks before packing and shipping. This ensures the full conversion of oils to soap.
What is the Expiry Date for Soaps?
The soaps can be used within 4 months as we don’t use any preservatives. They can be used up to a year, but the soap’s colour may change.
How can I make my cold process soap last longer when using it?
Keep your soap away from the shower and let it air dry between uses to prolong its lifespan. Store it on a well-draining soap dish and prevent it from sitting in pooled water, avoid softening and dissolving more quickly.
What is the shelf life of the soaps?
Hand made soaps do not have an expiry date as such but the color and the scent start fading after 6 – 8 months due to its ingredients being natural. Handmade soaps tend to sweat in high humidity so storing them in dry containers is necessary for long shelf life.
